How do spiders get in to your house?
I am terrified of spiders and September’s when they seem to stalk me so this year I made sure no windows were opened so they couldn’t get in that way and they don’t come up drains. But there’s still loads. If I could find out how they get in I could prevent it. Anyone any ideas?
Any opening – there could be hundreds that are small enough for a spider
If you are on the first floor – they can come up from pentrations through your foundations and up through the wall and then into the main living area through any hole in the wall.
They can also come in via the ventialtion system.
The main way I assume though is through small openings like window sills, door jams and other smaller holes in the walls. You cannot keep them out period unless you live in a bubble.
